Where do I begin. Thursday morning at 3 a.m. Breken wakes up ( this is not a normal thing for him) When I went in to see what was wrong I realized that tooth number 3 and tooth number 4 had popped through. I gave him some Tylenol ( mommy's cure) and we both went back to bed. I took him to school that morning and gave them some orajel and told them the situation. But I had this horrible feeling, like something else was wrong. About two hours into the work day I get a call from his teacher saying, " We think Breken is sick" So I immediately picked him up and took him to the doctor. Sure enough he had the stomach flu and a double ear infection for the 5th time. His doctor recommend I make an appointment with an ENT as soon as possible. They got me in today ( Friday at 11:00) and said that he will need to have a small surgery to put tubes in his ears. So...... Tuesday is they day this will be done. I am so grateful to have a job that is so understanding and willing to give me the time needed to make sure everything is taken care of properly. Wish us luck. I am going to take advantage of the time he is sleeping and get some rest myself.
