LEE'S GRADUATION!!

Friday night was Lee's Pinning ceremony. We are so happy that Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton could make it. It was a really neat experience. On Saturday Lee graduated!!!! I couldn't be more proud. He should be able to take the NCLEX in August. He's been doing his capstone in the ER and completely loves it! He hopes to land a job in the ER where he currently is. Then it's off to Grad School. The application process has begun. We can soon close this chapter of our life and leap right into the next. Thank to everyone for all of your love and support! We couldn't have done it without you!

Casey's Graduation

Last week my baby brother graduated from Riverton High School! Congratulations Casey! I took Breken to the graduation, he did ok, we took a dvd player so he could watch a movie. Once we was fed up with that, we spent the rest of the time playing tag outside.

Now it's of to the University of Utah for Casey, after their 2 week trip to Europe. Lucky Dog!

The Zoo

Because of the lovely winter weather we had over memorial weekend we decided to stay home. Not to mention Lee worked 4 night shifts this weekend, so Breken and I played. We went to the zoo with some friends on Friday, and it was the perfect zoo weather. We (nana, papa, chad, casey, and myself) also took Breken to Kung Fu Panda 2 and we had a blast. I hope everyone had a safe and fun memorial weekend.

Where did Breken go?

My moms friend gave us a hand me down spiderman costume. Well as far as I know, the cute little boy named Breken is no longer with us. I introduce you to "fiderman"(spiderman) AKA "peka Paka" (peter parker)

He can't wait to get home at night to put on his new identity. Boys are so funny!

Camping or no camping?

Well, we had or first camping trip of the summer planned for the weekend. For us camping isn't camping without fishing, so.... because of the crazy weather, there was still too much snow for us to go. We made the best of the weekend. It ended up being a beautiful weekend. Breken and I went on a really long walk with our friends, Sam, bug, and tucker. We played at the park, then spent every waking sunny moment at Nana's swimming and playing basketball. Overall it turned out to be a great weekend.

p.s.. don't judge the outfit, this is what I get for letting him pick out his clothes. haha

HALF MARATHON!

Almost 2 years ago I ran/walked a half marathon. Do you remember? My time wasn't very good, and I told myself I would NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER run another 13.1 miles again!

Well, Never say never ever!

My Boss has a personal goal of being able to run a half marathon. In order to help her reach that goal, I thought I would train and do it with her. And I have to tell you I'm excited about it. I didn't want to make a post about this until I was fully committed. And by that I mean, be able to at least run a mile without passing out. We have signed up for the Bryce Canyon Half Marathon, It is going to be absolutely beautiful! We're going to make a whole weekend out of it. So I booked a camp site at Ruby's Inn (where the race begins) and away we go. I started training on Friday, and let me tell you, I was dying at about 3/4 of a mile. As of today (3 days later) I can run a steady 2.5 miles.

If anybody is interested in going, either to just camp, or run the race let me know and I'll give you all the info! I'll keep you posted as I hit personal milestones. Wish me luck and cheer me on, I'm going to need it!
